Hotel Guest Reviews of the Affinia Gardens

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room was clean, ample, and modern. The kitchen clean and well-equipped. The bathroom clean, spacious, modern and well appointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent: on a very nice, quiet street in a pleasant neighborhood. There is a very good diner just around the corner, and a parking facility just across the street (valet parking at this facility is available from the hotel). ...read more

The staff was very helpful and courteous. They helped printing tickets for ball game. Helped with cabs and transportation.
Cockroach was running around under suitcases. Brought to manager who gave partial refund for one nite. Guess NYC is famous for them but we were scared and thought it was a mouse it was so big!!!!Shower nob hard to work and fell off when turned it.

older hotel being renovated.

Suite with a kitchenette, wonderful!
Room on street side was noisy.

Staff was super helpful. I had to extend my stay and they kept me in the same room. Catching a cab was easy. The bellman ran up to the corner for me.

Rooms are large, have kitchenettes and good beds.
Fitness center is awful and lobby/lounge was under construction.

I love the Affinia at 50th and 3rd, but wanted to be further uptown for this trip. This location is undergoing renovation so the lounge was closed, there is no lobby and the fitness center has apparently not been dealt with yet. The rooms are fine and comfortable and the staff is great, as I have found at all the Affinia locations. I would like to return after renovation is finished before I judge. ...read more

One bedroom suites with kitchen.
On the shabby side. Mold in the bathroom caulk & kitchen cabinets that did not work properly, not clean, dishwasher fell out of its hole-not bolted in.

Needs some updating esp in the bathroom and kitchen as stated above. On the shabby side there. Our deadbolt lock on the door did not seem to work and the hotel did not repair it when we told them. Nice to have two rooms and kitchen to make meals in, but there weren't enough chairs for all of us to sit down to eat. Could use a chair or two and side table in the bedroom. The housekeeping staff came quickly enough with towels and blankets. Friendly desk staff. Complementary coffee and tea in the lobby. ...read more
