Hotel Guest Reviews of the 3 Peaks Resort And Beach Club

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Definitely not a three star hotel. I travel for a living and have never stayed at a three star hotel like this. This was Motel 6 at best.

If this is indicative of a three star hotel in Lake Tahoe, set your star level much higher. We left after thirty minutes and went to Harrah's, a much much better experience.

Hotel is 2 blocks from the lake beach, 2 blocks away from the town center, a couple of blocks from the casinos, and almost center to everything. Staff was very friendly. Upgraded my room with very reasonable price. The upgrade was really worth it.
The fireplace at my suite sometime didn't work too well. But the staff was very quick to work on it. It would help if the hotel provides some very basic condiments for the kitchen, even just salt and pepper. Nothing else to complain about.

Try to get the suite room if you can get a reasonable rate. The standard rooms aren't bad at all. But you won't regret the upgrade to a suite. A much nicer experience. If you get a suite with a full kitchen, and if you plan to cook here, bring your own condiments with small containers. We had to buy some basic condiments for a 4-day trip and left most of them behind.

close to lake, casinos, entertainment, restaurants, shopping . rustic mountain cabin decor in some rooms.
hotel charges for daily use of microwave if not already in the assigned room. linens and bedspreads are in need of refreshing. property is dated. lighting in bath should be much brighter. no glasses, dishes, utensils or breakfast are provided.

Nice location, close to beach and casinos. Friendly staff. Bed was comfortable although double beds are not large enough for two adults and too close to walls.
Next time I will book a king size bed.. Double bed was too small for two adults. The heater/cooling system needs an upgrade. Difficult keeping the room at a comfortable temperature.

We were given an upgrade to a suite--living room, kitchen and separate bedroom. It was very restful and clean and quiety. Just a short walk from the lake and a shorter one to Starbucks and Heavenly Village.
There was a dog barking and whining in the room next door but when I called to complain, it was dealt with immediately.

The location is great; near the main road but far enough away that you don't hear a thing.
