Hotel Guest Reviews of the 1876 Heritage Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. They were even able to accommodate us for another night stay in the same room, last minute, when our plans had to be changed. Nice, comfy, quaint hotel and the cafe was awesome!
Beware that the rooms have all hardwood floors. So if you stay in a first floor room be prepared for loud noises above you. Wish we had known this before booking because my girlfriend has chronic migraines, and when she had one the noise was horrible.

nice room
The wifi for internet did not function all the time and it was a critical issue. There was no linen service and room cleaning on the weekend and on Monday until I asked for it. The manager would not provide clean towels stating staff was "finished"

Very shabby. Everything needed to be painted and cleaned. Broken windows broken blinds. Most people staying there were long term. Lots of drinking and loud

The cafe was pretty nice along with the decor,we had a wonderful view from our room and the beds were juuuuust riight.
the t.v. remote did not want to cooperate so my girlfriend and i couldent watch the movies we packed along for the trip. and the directions to reprogram it wasent consistent with the remote issued.

I find that the antiquity helped us to relax and detach ourselves from our hectic everyday lives.

Our room was filled with furniture and décor that made it feel historic. But we also liked the fact that it contained a refrigerator and microwave.
We had a no smoking room but the hallway always smelled of cigarettes. I am allergic to it so that was somewhat uncomfortable. We also had a problem with the toilet not flushing right.
